This policy covers bigheartmovingtx.com, run by Big Heart Moving, an owner-operated moving company working out of Houston, Texas. It lays out what we collect when you reach out, why we hold it, who ever sees it, and how we keep it safe.
1. What we collect
When you ask for a quote, call or email us, or send a form, you may give us:
- Your name
- A phone number
- An email address
- Where you are moving from and to
- Your target date and the size of the home
- Notes on specialty items (a piano, a safe, fragile pieces)
- Anything else you choose to tell us about the job
Your browser also leaves the usual technical traces when you visit, your IP address, browser, the page that sent you, which pages you read, and the time, gathered through cookies and standard server logs.
2. Why we use it
We put that information to work to:
- Build the written flat-rate quote for your move
- Talk with you about the quote and the details
- Schedule the crew and run the job
- Check in afterward to make sure it went right
- Sharpen the website and how we operate
- Meet any legal obligation we are under
3. Who sees it
Big Heart Moving is a real moving company, so to actually move you we may pass your details (name, number, addresses, date, inventory) to the people on our own team running the job.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to marketers, data brokers, or anyone unrelated. It only ever goes to:
- Our own crew and office handling your move
- Service vendors that keep the site and business running (hosting, analytics), under confidentiality terms
- Authorities, when the law actually requires it
4. How long we keep it
We hold your information only as long as it takes to do what is described here, normally no more than 24 months after we last hear from you, then it is deleted or stripped of anything identifying.
5. Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar tools to read traffic patterns and keep things working. You can manage cookies in your browser; turning them off may break a few features but will never stop you from calling for a quote.
6. Outside links
You may find links here to other sites, a review platform or a map, for instance. What those sites do with your data is on them, not us, so give their policies a read before you hand anything over.
7. Keeping it secure
We use sensible administrative, technical, and physical safeguards against unauthorized access, change, or loss, and the site runs SSL on everything between your browser and our servers. That said, no online system is ever 100 percent airtight.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to:
- Ask what personal information we hold on you
- Ask us to correct anything wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Opt out of non-essential messages

9. Kids
This is not a service aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we ever find that we have, we delete it right away.
10. Updates
We may revise this policy now and then. Any change gets posted here with a fresh date, and using the site or our services afterward means you accept the update.
